Papers of the Zerkel family [manuscript] 1808-1910.

Correspondence, accounts, and tax receipts (1837-1900) of the Zerkel family, of Shenandoah County, Virginia; stock certificates, receipts, brochures, and other papers of the West End Glasgow Land Company and the Valley Investment and Improvement Company, Buena Vista, Va.; correspondence and financial records (1891-1910) of the Luray Cavern Company, Luray, Va.; and early 19th century accounts and deeds, including Shenandoah County tax receipts, an 1865 list of voters, a butchers day book, and Baltimore, Md., post office papers. The collection also contains a handbill, 1828, refuting charges against Andrew Jackson set out in the "Coffin Handbill."
